What does BG1 DudleyFix do?

This FixPack addresses a whole load of scripting, spelling and file errors in Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast. Yes, you should install Baldurdash first, and no, DudleyFix does not duplicate anything Baldurdash did, it fixes everything else. This page reveals the errors with in-game text (including conversation and names) and the fixes required. There are many, many more fixes which you can peruse using the navigation menu.

This page is not the only place I have recorded edits to the DIALOG.TLK file. For example, where there is an error related to a creature I have recorded the edits to the CRE file and the DIALOG.TLK file in the same place (i.e. on the Errors: Creatures page). There are also several minor edits such as spacing, odd characters and consistency checks that have not been recorded as I'm not that anal. Though I thought about it . . .

Denkod, AR0153 - if your first time inside the Thieves' Guild is in Chapter 7, you will find the whole guild turns hostile when you are stopped by the guild guards and fail to give the correct password (which you wouldn't know). Although you would be stopped upon leaving the guild (rather than entering) it would still make sense for the guards to stop you as several parties have blundered through the guild before you which would put the thieves on edge, especially as the guards wouldn't recognise you. Any thief would happily give the password to maintain security. Denkod is best placed to act as Niklos did in Chapter 5 and avert a serious misunderstanding.
    1. ... Oh, and if the guards ask you for the password, it's 'Fafhrd'; with all these strangers suddenly appearing it's only prudent the security is a little tighter than usual.
