BG1 Mods: Scrolls and Wands
For the spell scrolls I have used the following rule about casting level, interpreting the rulebooks is fraught with minefields so if you strongly disagree with my interpretation and can back it up then please email!

- Protection from Acid - Smoketest suggests bringing the scroll in line with the 2e DMG manual by: Item Ability Target Type = Caster, Range = 1, Item Effect Target Type = Self, Value = 100, Modifier Type = Set (1), Time = 720.
- Can be targeted on the Caster only
- Acid Resistance is Set to 100%
- Duration is 12 turns
- Speed changed to 6 to reflect the reading speed

- Protection from Cold - protection from magical cold is missing. Smoketest suggests bringing the scroll in line with the 2e DMG manual by: Item Ability Target Type = Caster, Range = 1, Item Effect Target Type = Party, Value = 100, Modifier Type = Set (1), Time = 480. Add Magic cold resistance bonus (75% if no save and 88% if save vs breath +6). The solution cannot match the DMG manual because of the limitations of the game engine. However this is an imaginative workaround.

- Cold Resistance is Set to 100%
- Magic Cold Resistance is Set to 75% if no Save
- Magic Cold Resistance is Set to 88% if Save vs. Breath (?) with +6 Bonus

- Protection from Electricity - has a General name of "Scroll" despite other protection scrolls being called "Protection Scroll" - from Smoketest. Update string to 18094. Smoketest suggests bringing the scroll in line with the 2e DMG manual by: Item Ability Target Type = Caster, Range = 1, Item Effect Target Type = Party, Value = 100, Modifier Type = Set (1), Time = 72.

- Electrical Resistance is Set to 100%
- Duration is 12 rounds
- Speed changed to 5 to reflect the reading speed
