What does BG1 DudleyMod do?
This mod addresses a whole load of inconsistencies that don't quite qualify as fixes. If you just want fixes (like Baldurdash) please go to the Completed FixPacks page instead.

This page was originally part of the fixes but as it incorporates substantial alteration to the game's spells so I decided to move the files into a separate ModPack. I have "fixed" spell mistakes and generally overhauled the effects and durations that were described as increasing with caster level but never actually did. I tried to keep to the 2nd edition rules where possible within the limitations of the game engine. However, I have also aimed to maintain strong continuity with BG2 and sometimes this means bending AD&D rules (as Bioware also did). Some previously very weak and useless spells will now become much better as your mage(s) level up. Others will become slightly less amazing particularly in regards to duration.
